Špindlerův Mlýn offers a broad range of activities both for families with children and for more experienced sports people, even when the weather is warm. You have a lot to choose from!
Hiking
From the hotel door directly to the mountain peaks? No problem thanks to the great location of our hotel. You can choose from many trail options according to their demands, focus and type of hiking:
Nature trails – Mlynářovy okruhy (Miller Circuits), Hornická stezka (Miner Trail), Labský důl (Elbe Mine), or the nature trails of the Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Resort; Marked hiking trails – both shorter and longer hikes;
Attractive places – Sněžka Mountain, the spring of the Elbe, Sněžné jámy (Snow Cirques) and Elbe Waterfalls;
Trails along the mountain ridges, trails suitable for Nordic walking or jogging, trails suitable for disabled persons.
Cycling
Špindlerův Mlýn and its surroundings are a paradise for cyclists. Those who are keen on cycling along ridges will appreciate the possibility to have their bike taken to the upper parts of the Giant Mountains by cycle-buses or by one of the cable cars in the Špindlerův Mlýn Ski Resort. And they can then enjoy a great ride with breathtaking views. Fans of adrenalin experiences do not get a raw deal either – they can visit the Špindl Bike Park.
Other activities
It’s no problem to keep children of all ages busy. Both kids and the supervising adults will enjoy any of the children’s playgrounds located within the beautiful mountain countryside.
You can visit several of them: Monkey Park, Medvědín, Na pláni, Horní Mísečky and Bedřichov Municipal Playground. We recommend not missing the popular Adventure Park with a bungee trampoline, giant swing, climbing net, aquazorbing and an archery point. In Špindlerův Mlýn everybody can also enjoy a ride on the bob-sleigh track, scooters or a train excursion.
